Some are surprised Minnesota isn’t always a frozen tundra, but when it is winter here, there is plenty to do! Popular activities include skating or pickup hockey at one of our 14 outdoor skating rinks, renting snow shoes or cross-country skiing equipment and exploring Lebanon Hills Regional Park, or tubing down the hill at Trapp Farm Park. There are also many things to do indoors during Eagan winters. For example, bring the kids to The Blast in the Eagan Community Center, a two-story space-themed playground or Good Times Park, another indoor park for family fun. Also, indoor attractions like Nickelodeon Universe or Sea Life Minnesota Aquarium offer a fun winter day. The Minnesota Zoo is another place that is open year-round with a ton of cool animals to see inside.
